Model 50 submachine gun manufactured by Madsen under contract for Venezuela. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the Venezuelan coat of arms above "FAP" and the serial number. Firing selector is marked "F" and "S". Faint Inter American import stamp is present on the right side of the barrel. Major metal components exhibit a parkerized finish, with some smaller components exhibiting a black enamel finish. Additional features include a clamshell receiver design, fixed blade front sight, peep rear sight, as well as a side-folding buttstock. Electronic NFA registry indicates "MADSEN" as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Very good overall, with metal components exhibiting areas of wear on some edges and some superficial marks from handling and storage that show through to gray patina. Barrel exhibits areas of pitting, but is otherwise fine. Bore is bright, exhibiting moderate oxidation and strong rifling throughout. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
