Wonderful 1/2 scale 1919 machine gun chambered in .22 Long Rifle manufactured by Tippmann Arms Company of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The right side of the receiver is marked "MOD. 1919/ NO. AL137/ TIPPMANN ARMS CO./ FT. WAYNE. IN.", with the caliber designation present just behind the rear sight. Major metal components are parkerized, while the receiver screws and feed lever set screw are blued. This example is accompanied by its original wood transit chest containing a tripod, T&E mechanism, 2 miniature ammunition cans, as well as 2 cloth belts. Interior of lid retains its paper diagram and the owners manual. Electronic NFA registry indicates "TIPPMANN, DENNIS DBA TIPPMAN ARMS CO" as the manufacturer. CONDTION: Extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory parkerized finish, save for a couple small spots of silvering from storage and handling. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined lands and grooves throughout. Transit chest is excellent.
