HK91 manufactured by Heckler & Koch in 1981 and subsequently imported by HK Inc. of Arlington, Virginia. The left side of the receiver exhibits stampings stipulating the model designation, serial number, and caliber designation above a German "(Eagle)/ N" commercial nitro proof, date code "IB" (81), as well as an Ulm Proof House stamp. The right side of the receiver bears HK's importer information. The selector switch is stamped "0" and "1". Bolt and bolt carrier are stamped "HJ". Metal components exhibit a gray enamel finish, with the forend, pistol grip, and fixed buttstock comprising a black polymer. Additional features include a birdcage flash hider, post front sight, drum rear sight, and a bipod. This example is accompanied by 1 parkerized "4/61" dated G3 magazine. CONDITION: Fine, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory gray enamel finish, exhibiting few minor spots of wear or flaking. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. The bolt face exhibits some firing residue but is otherwise excellent. Polymer furniture is excellent, with few minor marks from handling and storage.
