DST. Makers Marked, "Robertson Dualife." C. 1940's Howel's Root Beer double-sided painted metal sign. CONDITION: Side A, has good color throughout, with minor fading to the red sections, as well as, an area of paint loss along the underscore of "Howel's." The sign also shows scratches with complete paint loss, as well as, areas of paint loss to the extreme outer edge of the piece. Side B, has excellent color and gloss. The piece has areas of scratching completely through the paint, as well as, surface scratching. The sign has areas of paint loss around the edges, along with minor bends and crinkles to the tin. Overall, an excellent early example with tremendous graphics.
