U.S. M-1 Garand service rifle with National Match marked barrel; action made at Springfield Armory in January of 1945. 24" "NM*" marked barrel dated "3-47" and maker marked "SA" with Redfield hooded front sight and military-style rear sight with added peep aperture. "HRA" cut op rod and "SA" marked bolt. Late style stamped "SA" marked trigger group with all "SA" marked parts. Walnut "SA/NFR" in box marked stock with correct hardware and "P" in circle inspection mark. Comes with light tan woven carry strap. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ original arsenal finish. Stock fits tight with light coat of added oil finish and some light carry marks. Good bore with ME of 2 and TE of 3. Good mechanics.
