U.S. M-1 Garand service rifle with action made at Springfield Armory in September of 1944. 24" "SA" marked barrel dated "1-45" with standard military sights and import marked by "EXEL / Gardner, Mass". "WRA" cut op rod and "SA" marked bolt. Late style stamped "SA" marked trigger group with all "SA" marked parts. Walnut "AA / XXXX (illegible)" marked stock with correct hardware. Comes with leather carry strap. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ original arsenal finish. Stock fits tight with light cleaning and some light carry marks and crack behind trigger group. Good bore with ME of 2 and TE of 3. Good mechanics.
