Gewehr 41 manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker in 1943. The left side of the receiver is stamped "G.41" followed by Berlin-Lubeckers manufacturer code "duv", 2-digit year of manufacture "43", a BLM "(Eagle)/ 214" waffenamt, as well as the serial number. Additional BLM "(Eagle)/ 214" waffenamts are present on various small parts and components and on the stock. Metal components are blued, the stock comprises laminated wood, and the upper handguard is brown bakelite. All numbers are matching and include the receiver, magazine housing, muzzle cone, front sight base, bolt carrier, bolt housing, bolt, bolt locking lugs, firing pin, as well as a buttstock. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, as well as some areas of mild wear that show through to a gray patina. Bright bore, exhibiting mild pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. The wood stock exhibits some scattered dings and marks but is otherwise fine. The Bakelite handguard is excellent. A very nice Berlin-Lubecker production G41(W) semi-automatic rifle.
