U.S. M-1 Carbine made by National Postal Meter between February 1943 to September 1943. 18" arsenal finished barrel marked "INLAND MFG. DIV/GENERAL MOTORS" and dated "7-44" with Type II rear sight and "N" marked milled front sight. Aftermarket front sling band. Inland marked milled trigger group with Type III round "O.I." marked bolt and "ROCK-OLA" marked slide and "M" marked magazine release with push button style safety. High wood walnut uncut stock with "TN" stamp in sling well and Crossed Cannons mark on right side of stock with "SG" in square with correct hardware. "P-U" marked 2 rivet top wood. Comes with light green woven sling and oiler. CONDITION: Overall good with 90% original arsenal finish. No import marks. Wood has dark appearance with light coat of oil and small handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 and good mechanics.
