U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company between December 1943 to November 1944. 18" arsenal finished barrel marked with single "W" stamp and no date with Type I rear flip sight and unmarked milled front sight. Unmarked Type II front sling band. Correct "W" marked milled trigger group with blued "W" marked bolt and "W" marked slide, and "M" marked magazine release with push button safety. "M" marked magazine release. Correct low wood walnut uncut stock with "W.R.A./G.H.D" stamp and crossed cannons mark on the right side of stock with the correct hardware and "W" in the sling well. "W" marked 2-rivet top wood. Comes with a light green woven sling, oiler, and dimpled bottom 5-round magazine. CONDITION: Overall good with 90% original arsenal finish. No import marks. Wood has traces of the original arsenal finish with a light coat of oil and small handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 and good mechanics. A nearly all correct Winchester Carbine.
