Standard configuration G43 manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker in 1944. The left side of the receiver is stamped with a Berlin-Lubecker "(Eagle)/ 214" waffenamt, followed by the serial number, an eagle firing proof, "G. 43", as well as Berlin-Lubecker's manufacturer code, and the year of manufacture "duv 44.". Metal components are blued, while the stock and handguard are laminated wood. The Bolt assembly does not match but matches itself, except for the locking lugs. The receiver side rail is mounted with a ZF4 optic. The magazine is of contemporary production. The rifle is accompanied by a reproduction magazine pouch containing 1 additional contemporary magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain good amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to brown and gray patinas. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout. ZF4 scope exhibits some mild exterior oxidation. The optic is cloudy. Stock exhibits scattered dings and marks from handling and storage but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
