Standard configuration K.43 semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker during the final months of World War II. The left side of the receiver bears a Berlin-Lubecker "(Eagle)/ 214" waffenamt followed by the serial number, "K.43", as well as Berlin-Lubecker's late manufacturer code and the date code "qve 45". Metal components are blued, with the stock comprising laminated wood and the handguard of bakelite. "aye" and "G43" marked magazine is black enamel finished. The rifle appears to be a G.I. bring back, with the stock lightly sanded and varnished and the left side of the buttstock bearing an affixed Wehrmacht Veterans eagle insignia. All numbers match and include the receiver, bolt assembly, and stock. The rifle is mounted with a period brown leather sling. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of mild thinning and wear that show through to a pleasant brown patina. Dark bore exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Stock is very good as sanded and revarnished.
