Double-mounted .925 sterling silver and 12k rose gold inlaid and overlaid Mexican spurs with remarkably detailed three-dimensional horsehead shanks securing lovely and intricately floral engraved and sculpted 2” silver rowels. Spurs attached to two-piece, piteado stitched leathers with a swinging silver and gold overlaid 1 - 7/8” button. Lot includes a display stand fabricated with a wooden base and single iron stirrup. Outstanding condition, circa 1950s-60s.
