A dazzling combination of double-mounted 1890s-1900s “Transitional” (aka “Mexican/California”) spurs with flowing style cut-out heelbands and killer whale designed shanks reminiscent of J. Tapia. Spurs have 1” tapered cut-out bands, and 2 - 1/2” inlaid 60-point rowels affixed to a remarkably rare pair of two-piece period leather straps inset with original vintage Jaguar hide. A unique and showy pair of spurs in fine condition with custom display stand.
