The personal spurs and a Mexican weaving belonging to the noted artist Nick Firfires (1917-1990).

The spurs are an impressive example of transitional California spurs with silver inlay and high engraved domes. The Spanish style 3" rowels and barrel chap guard are on a 1" band. Floral tooled straps have a scalloped concho which appears to be by Ed Fields. Includes original photo of Nicholas Firfires in vaquero dress in the Santa Barbara Fiesta Parade wearing the spurs with the Mexican weaving draped over the saddle.

Provenance: From the Nicholas Firfires Estate, with a letter of provenance from the family
