Contemporary and Vintage Native items, tanned leather, beaded, etc, handed down through the family of Mary Jackson.
a) A mid-century beaded and fringed vest. Man's size and style, zipper front with beaded floral design front and back.
b) A simple hide man's pull over shirt with trade cloth neck and fringed bottom.
c) A dew claw hide bag with decorative shells and lacing. Contents of bone fragments.
d) A Native tanned hide and beaded rifle scabbard. An older piece with floral beading on each end, along with 14" fringe. 41" long.
e) Three pair of plain hide moccasins, 2 high top shoes, one child's size, 8 - 1/2" long and one adult, 11" long. The other a 10 - 3/4" long, hard sole show with fringed top.
f) A beaded chest ornament or breast plate, draped style beaded sections with side panels of leather, studs and shell. 20" x 10".
