The scarce and desirable 1287 pattern. Marked on the band "Buermann's Patent", backed with 1 - 1/2" riveted leather, one with the barely visible Buermann mark. These have the large full drop 2" shanks, 2 - 1/2" rowels and replaced jingle-bobs. The rare attached straps are a dove wing style, embossed with a steerhead and a very early block stamp "GALLUP" for S.C. Gallup, Pueblo, Colorado. The conchos are flat, 2" with engraved Gallup type steerhead.
