Imperial German M1915 Jaeger zu Pferde painted lobster tail helmet. Marked to the maker "Schulz & Holdefleiss of Berlin" and dated "1916", with a black body, cockades, gray front plate, drawstring and liner; which all appear to be original. Reproduction chinstrap and cockades, with damaged M1891 posts. Black painted interior, except front visor which is green. Very nice liner which has "Prussian Guard helmet captured at the Battle of the Marne - 1916" written on the front liner area, and which does appear to be era (or shortly thereafter) done. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent.
