Imperial German Saxon Artillery Officer pickelhaube. Saxon crest possibly replaced. National Colors cockade and officer scales appear original while the Saxon cockade is likely a reproduction. Original ball with nice patina and 1 small dent. Front visor appears to have been reattached. Rear visor exhibits separation. Spine exhibits separation. Cracking throughout leather body with a few pieces missing. Missing leather sweatband. Marked "L.G. / 1883" on interior. CONDITION: Fair, "out of the woodwork".
