Lot contains 2 Prussian WWI painted Jaeger zu Pferde helmets: (A) Maker marked (illegible) and dated "1916", with a black body, gray front plate and spike/ mount, with a black and green painted interior; all appear original. Liner is missing, with what appears to be reproduction chinstrap and cockades. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Unmarked, black body, incorrect brass Prussian front plate (Wappen), gray spike/ mounting plate, black and green painted interior, and leather liner band all appears original. Liner is missing, and cockades and chinstrap appear to be reproductions. CONDITION: Overall very good.
