Lot consists of: (A) World War I Imperial German M16 helmet. No visible size or maker code. Nice patina to the original green paint. The shell retains both of the extended ventilation lugs. The helmet also retains both of the rivets for the M91 chinstrap system. All 3 liner split pins remain in place, including the correct thicker rear pin. Interior of the helmet contains the correct 3-pad leather liner with leather retaining band, which remains intact. Liner is worn, with stiff leather, tears, and 1 pad coming apart. 1 pad retains its cushion. Missing leather chinstrap. The helmet retains a nice amount of its original paint with scattered scratches and scuffs. CONDITION: Good. (B) WWI Imperial German M16 helmet stamped "Q66" for F.W. Quist, Esslingen/Neckar.
