Lot consists of: (A) 2nd Pattern NSKK Crash Helmet, constructed of molded black leather with raised, padded bars running horizontally around the helmets bottom edge, and another protective bar running from front to back over the crown top. Helmet has a single ventilation grommet with screen to each side of crown, left screen missing. Front center of helmet has a 2nd pattern NSKK stylized national eagle, still firmly attached. Short leather visor stitched to front with protective side and rear panels. Side panels each have a vertical half-moon shaped, ear cut-out with stitched on closure flaps. Rear neck flap intact. Side panels also have extended straps to bottoms which act as the chinstrap. Interior of helmet has a tan leather, fully intact with all fingers and original tie string which has snapped. Liner is stamped in red ink with faint maker ID. worn leather with cracking to flaps and dusty, "out of the woodwork" look. CONDITION: Good. (B) Heer officer's visor with black pioneer piping. Insignia appears original to the cap. Hat was repaired on left side. Sweatband is worn and repaired. Lining exhibits stains. CONDITION: Fair
