Lot consists of: (A) Imperial German tschako with Bavarian crest. Feldzeichen and national colors appear original, feldzeichen obviously added. State cockade and chinstrap are reproductions. Complete with leather liner and brown leather tie string. Faint maker stamping on crown and dated 1916. Body exhibits scattered blemishes. (B) Imperial German tschako with Prussian crest. Feldzeichen appears original, national colors cockade and chinstrap are reproductions. Complete with leather liner and brown leather tie string. Liner exhibits wear. Body exhibits scattered blemishes and touched up paint. (C) Imperial German tschako with Prussian crest. Cockades and chinstrap appear original, with feldzeichen a reproduction. Nice green satin lining with leather sweatband that exhibits wear. Areas of loss to felt body. (D) Imperial German felt tschako, all components appear original, national colors cockade may have been added. Stamped "BAI / 1918" on interior, liner is supple with slight stains. Cracking to chinstrap. Solid body with a few blemishes. CONDITION: Varying from fair-good.
