An exceptional 1880’s beaded cradleboard and cover, constructed in the distinctive shape of the Northwest tribes. The top is done in colorful flowers that stand out against a light blue background. The finely detailed beading extends to the sides and hood with flowers and vines on red trade cloth. Native tanned hide backing has central decorative fringe across the width. 38" long x 15 - 1/2" wide x 8" high.
