Manufactured circa 1954 by International Harvester. 24" "LMR" marked barrel dated "6 53" with standard protected blade front sight and late style "IHC" marked rear aperture sight. No visible import marking. "IHC" marked cut op rod, bolt, and trigger group components. Walnut stock marked with encircled "P" firing proof and DOD stamp. Standard parkerized stock hardware. Complete with green web sling and stock compartment tools. CONDITION: Very good, appears period correct. The vast majority of the original parkerized finish is retained with some moderate wear. Stock shows some scattered bumps and a chip at the toe but is otherwise very good. Strong bore with well defined rifling and some abrasions. ME 2+. TE of 5. Fine mechanics.
