Auto Burglar manufactured by Ithaca Gun Company of Ithaca, New York. Either side of the frame is engraved with a small scene of a dog above "AUTO & BURGLAR GUN/ ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y.", with "-- SMOKELESS STEEL POWDER --" and "MADE IN THE U.S.A." stamped over the top of the barrels. Case color hardened receiver with blued barrels. Pistol grip and forend are comprised of checkered walnut. All numbers match and include the frame, barrels, and forend. CONDITION: Frame retains large amounts of its original factory case color finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning gray and brown patinas, with some spots of age-related discoloration. Barrels retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting mild surface oxidation overall with some scattered spots of more moderate oxidation. Mirror bores. Walnut furniture is very good, exhibiting some superficial marks from handling and storage overall. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM WILL INCUR A $5.00 TRANSFER TAX IF TRANSFERRED ON AN ATF FORM 4. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "ANY OTHER WEAPON".
