M1 Carbine originally manufactured at Inland Division in 1943 and later converted into a machine gun with an M2 selector lever by John Norrel Arms. The receiver is stamped "U.S. CARBINE/ CAL. 30 M1" with "INLAND DIV." stamped at the rear above the serial number. Barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./ GENERAL MOTORS" above the date "10-43". Selector lever is electro-penciled "JOHN NORREL ARMS JAX. AR" followed by the serial number "516". Metal components are parkerized with the stock consisting of solid wood. This example is accompanied by 1 spare magazine. CONDITION: Very good overall, with metal components retaining large amounts of their period arsenal parkerized finish, exhibiting mild edge wear and some areas of brown discoloration. Very bright bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Stock is excellent. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
