Early 3-digit serial number Model 50 submachine gun manufactured by Harrington & Richardson, with very desirable original Federal case The receiver is stamped on top "MODEL 50 - H&R REISING - CAL. 45". Compensator has been removed and replaced with front sight held in by a set-screw (nice idea to make it easier to clean the barrel, as well as ascetically pleasing). If one had a Model 55 paratrooper Reising stock this gun would be just what you are looking for. Accessories include one original 20 round magazine, a custom high-quality professionally manufactured 30 round magazine, and the original case as mentioned above. Metal components have been nicely reblued, with the stock having been gently sanded and oiled. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent, as refinished by Stan Andrewski years ago. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face also near excellent. Case is in fine condition, exhibiting mild exterior wear and some age-related cracking and crazing on the leather handle.
