This is an attractive high condition Auto Ordnance, West Hurley Model 1928 Thompson with an original Auto-Ordnance, West Hurley produced 39 round 2nd Generation "XL" drum, and Auto-Ordnance marked 30-round magazine. Electronic NFA registry indicates “AUTO ORDNANCE” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent lustrous blue finish on all metal parts including bullet logo (on top) Cutts compensator. Wood is near excellent with a couple slight handling marks. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. A very attractive specimen in high condition for the person who wants an example of the iconic American machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
