First production block Underwood manufactured circa November 1942 to July 1943. 18" IBM barrel import marked by Blue Sky with "EU" marked fabricated type II protected blade front sight and "PI" marked milled type II rear aperture sight. Round bolt. "BE-B" marked trigger group with flip safety and "M" marked magazine catch. M2 pot belly stock with "IO" marked handguard and "IA" marked bayonet lug band. Complete with 3 total 15-round magazines, original JQMD stock pouch, green web sling, and oiler. CONDITION: Very good as reworked. The vast majority of the arsenal reapplied parkerized finish is retained throughout, with some silvering along high edges. Stock is fine with a few impressions. Bright bore with strong rifling and scattered cleaned freckles. Mechanically fine.
