First production block Inland Division of General Motors manufactured in 1942. 18" Inland barrel marked with Davidson's import mark. "EU" marked fabricated type II protected blade front sight and milled type II aperture rear sight. Round bolt. "R" marked trigger group with flip safety and "M" marked magazine release. "SA" marked M2 pot belly stock stamped on the left side in large numbers with the rifle's serial number. "SI" marked bayonet lug barrel band. Complete with 3 total magazines, 1943 Kadin stock pouch, green web sling, and oiler. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt. The vast majority of the arsenal applied finishes are retained with some moderate wear. Stock has been refinished with some minor marks. Fine bright bore displaying sharp rifling. ME of 1+. Fine mechanics.
