DSP. A nice example of this c. 1941 double-sided fountain service porcelain sign from Coca-Cola featuring strong colors and gloss, with an original bracket hanger. CONDITION: Side 1 retains a clean field with just a handful of very small chips spread around. The gloss is strong and the colors are vibrant. The extreme outer edges show minor porcelain wear, but no major porcelain loss. The mounting holes show porcelain loss where the brass hooks attach, but nothing to detract from the sign's appeal (8.8). Side 2 has chips to the porcelain spread around the field with edgewear on the extreme outer borders. It appears a very small area on the top right bracket was touched-up with green paint at some point. With that said, this side looks great and displays very nicely (8.7). The cast iron bracket has wonderful patina and still retains some of its original green paint. Together, the sign and the bracket make quite an impact when on display and they certainly could be the center piece of any collection.
