A wonderful top grade Remington 11-87 fit and finished with care by the Custom Shop, complete with 30" and 27 - 3/4" 12 bore ventilated rib barrels with double bead sights and removable Remchokes. Both of the barrels are foliate scroll engraved over punch dot backgrounds with border bands towards the breech. The polish blued receiver features approximately 80% coverage "F" grade foliate scroll over punchdot engraving with 6 raised gold overlaid game scene vignettes. On the left a quail and pheasant flank a pair of well-executed hunting dogs walking through a field. The right side displays a central pair of pointing bird dogs between a snipe and grouse. Scroll engraving extends onto the bolt and trigger guard; the trigger also gold washed. Engraving signed ahead of the loading port "ENG / D.A. TALBOT" for Custom Shop engraver Don Talbot. Hand fit internals. Forend is finely hand-checkered gloss-finished walnut. Matching finely checkered, highly figured walnut stock with raised comb, "DW" inscribed toeline vanity plate, and brown rubber Decelerator butt pad. Housed in a fitted aluminum Americase with additional choke tubes. CONDITIION: Excellent, as new. Virtually all of the factory blue is retained throughout. Stocks are likewise excellent with a few handling marks. Very fine bright bores with faint evidence of test firing. Case and accessories are very good. A superb Remington game gun.
