All of the barrels are foliate scroll engraved over punch dot backgrounds with border bands towards at the breech. The polish blued receiver features approximately 80% coverage "F" grade foliate scroll over punch dot engraving with 6 game scene vignettes. On the left, a quail and pheasant flank a pair of well-executed hunting dogs bounding through a field. The right side displays a central pair of pointing bird dogs between a grouse and snipe. Scroll engraving extends onto the bolt and trigger guard; the trigger also gold washed. Engraving signed on the right side above the guard "D.A. TALBOT" for Custom Shop engraver Don Talbot. Hand fit internals. Forend is finely hand-checkered gloss-finished walnut. Matching finely checkered superbly figured feather crotch walnut stock with "DW" inscribed toeline vanity plate and brown rubber Decelerator butt pad. Housed in a Custom Shop marked fitted aluminum Americase with an additional matching plastic hard case and choke tubes. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the rich factory blue is retained throughout, with some evidence of assembly. Stock is likewise excellent, with only very minor handling marks. Fine bright bores show some light use. Case and accessories are very good. A truly stunning Custom Shop deluxe Remington.
