Originally manufactured by Springfield Armory in May 1942. 24" Springfield barrel dated "6-51" and chambered in .30-06 with protected blade front sight and post-War "IHC" marked aperture rear sight. Springfield "SA" marked cut op rod, bolt, and trigger group components. Walnut stock with encircled "P" firing proof, faint boxed rebuild marking, and standard hardware.
