Reising Model 50 submachine gun manufactured by Harrington & Richardson. The top of the receiver bears stampings stipulating the model designation, caliber designation, and manufacturer information, while the right side exhibits the serial number followed by the safety selector markings. Barrel is stamped "PS" over the top of the breech. Metal components are parkerized, while the receiver and barrel are housed within a 1-piece solid wood stock. 1 blued magazine is present. This example is accompanied by its original 1968 amnesty registration form and 1977, 1978, and 1999 dated Commonwealth of Virginia certificates of registration. NFA registry lists "HARRINGTON & RICHARD ARMS CO" in the manufacturer block and "MODEL 50" in the model block. CONDITION: Extremely fine, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their parkerized finish, exhibiting some light edge wear overall. Trigger guard and buttplate exhibit wear and thinning overall that shows through to brown patina. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered nicks, dings, and minor impressions from storage and handling but is otherwise fine. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE.
