Extremely ornate and high-quality German made side by side double rifle made by Emil Kerner and Sohn, Suhl, Germany in 1924. Blued 25 - 1/8" Krupp Steel barrels with raised matted rib, ramp front bead/blade sight, fixed rear notch sight with folding leaf, rare ejectors, and floral breech engraving marked "EMIL KERNER & SOHN"/ "SUHL". Import marked "GERMANY" coin finished, scalloped boxlock action with side clips, cocking indicators, Greener style safety and crossbolt, double set triggers, and horn trigger guard. Action has heavy chiseled full game scene and floral engraving. Light colored figured finely checkered walnut pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, steel buttplate, ebony diamond wrist inlays, engraved bullet trap, and steel pistol grip cap with "W.T. MOYERS / ATLANTA, GA" engraved on it. Matching splinter forearm with ebony inlay and latch release. Comes in luggage trunk case. CONDITION: 95% original blue with light edge wear. Excellent dull gray action finish. Wood has sharp checkering and has possibly been lightly cleaned. Good bores and mechanics. A beautiful gun!
