Circa 1915-1925 and no record or provenance can be ascertained. This came from the 2011-12 permanent collection liquidation of The Schmidt Museum of Coca-Cola Memorabilia in Elizabethtown, Ky. The assumption is that this was a manufacturer’s presentation for consideration for purchase or licensing for national distribution and ultimately not chosen and produced. It can be readily surmised that the manufacturer was a stove company since the body, lid, and legs are all porcelain over steel, and in the case of the legs, over cast iron. It could have likely been the costs of mass production and/or difficulty/absence of insulation that led to the cooler being declined to be used by the Coca-Cola Co. Regardless, this presents a great opportunity to own the only known porcelain Coca-Cola junior cooler in existence. CONDITION: A wonderful original example, showing some chipping to the edges and to the back panel.
