Sterling Mk IV manufactured by Charles Erb. The left side of the receiver bears the serial number followed by a partially discernible Erb bullet logo, with a boxed "STERLING" above stampings that stipulate the model and caliber designation present on top of the magazine well. Safety selector lever is stamped "A", "R", and "S". Metal components exhibit a black "wrinkle" finish, while the grip is comprised of black checkered plastic. 2 spare 34-round magazines accompany this example. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their black "wrinkle" finish, exhibiting only a few minute spots of flaking overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some scattered marks from storage and handling but is otherwise fine. An extremely attractive and high-condition Sterling Mk IV submachine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
