Foil on Glass with Illuminated Base. Maker marked, "Raymond M. Price." A nice light up sign c. 1940's-1950's with ornate metal base from Anheuser-Busch. CONDITION: The glass section of this sign has strong gold foil lettering, which still looks bold and remains in good condition. The piece of glass has one very small chip at the bottom, which is concealed by the base. There are also a few surface scratches to the glass piece that can only be seen when the sign is illuminated. The metal base has nicely embossed letters that still retain their original gold paint. The sign functions properly and still retains its original power chord. In total, this piece displays great and would be a proud addition to any collection.
