DSP. Maker mark "S. P. S. 63." A nice displaying c. 1960s Pure Oil Company double-sided porcelain station identification sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss, with minor areas of porcelain loss and surface staining throughout the field. Sign has four added hanging holes along the outer field, which all have minor porcelain loss surrounding them. The outer edges of the sign also have areas of very minor porcelain loss and more significant staining. (7.9). Side 2, also has good color and gloss, with minor porcelain chips both in the inner and outer fields. Sign has minor areas of surface staining in the field, as well as porcelain loss and more significant surface staining on the outer edge of the piece. (7.75). Overall, a nice displaying example, perfect for any collection.
