DSP. C. 1960s Ashland Oil Co. double-sided porcelain service station identification sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss, with significant surface staining and oxidation throughout the white and black porcelain. Sign shows multiple porcelain chips throughout the field, as well as minor surface blemishes. The outer edges of the sign also have significant staining and porcelain loss at the mounting holes. (8.0). Side 2, has good color and gloss, with more oxidation in the white than the previous side. Sign shows multiple areas of surface staining and porcelain loss in the inner and outer field, as well as minor porcelain loss in the outer edges. (7.9). Overall, a nice displaying sign with mostly good color and gloss throughout.
