DSP. C. 1920s "Ask Here for Mobiloil" double-sided porcelain curb stand with early gargoyle graphic and original embossed base. CONDITION: Side 1, has significant fade throughout the lettering and the graphic, as well as minor chips to the porcelain in the inner and outer field. Sign shows areas of staining, both in the field and around the outer edge, as well as areas of porcelain loss at the bottom of the sign on the outer edge. (7.75). Side 2, has significant fade to the porcelain throughout the field, as well as minor porcelain chips in both the inner and outer field. Sign shows areas of surface staining and scratching, as well as a handful of paint drips from repainting the metal frame. (7.75). Overall, an excellent displaying piece, with its original stand and base.
