DST. Maker mark "A-M 6-57." C. 1950s Kendall Motor Oil "The 2000 Mile Oil" double-sided tin curb sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has fair color and gloss throughout, with significant surface scratching and staining on the face of the piece. Sign has a couple small areas of paint loss between the two "L"s of "Kendall," and more significant staining and scratching around the outer edge of the piece. (8.5). Side 2, also has fair color and gloss, with significantly more scratching and surface staining than the previous side. The sign has one minor dent in the outer field that shows on both sides of the piece. The sign has areas of staining and scratching around the outer edge. (8.25). Overall, an excellent displaying piece, nicely added to a homemade curb stand.
