DSP. Maker marked "S.P.S." and dated "1954." An outstanding example of this porcelain sign from Sinclair Gasoline and Motor Oils. CONDITION: Side one retains good color and shine throughout the field with only very minimal detractions. Mounting holes show some staining from oxidation and the extreme outer edge along the top shows minor porcelain loss and rust. (9.0). Side two remains very nice with no distracting problems in the field. Mounting holes show areas of rust as well as minor porcelain loss to the upper edge. (9.0). Sign retains a nice original bracket that enhances the display. In total, this sign displays very nicely and would be a good addition to any collection.
