DST. A nice example of this c.1950's tin flange sign from American Brakeblok, featuring a dog and cat graphic with great color and shine. CONDITION: Side 1 retains good gloss with strong colors. The field of the sign is clean and the graphics in the center are largely undamaged. There are some surface scratches throughout the field in the gloss, but nothing to detract from the sign's ability to display well. The extreme outer edges show occasional paint loss in a small number of areas (8.9). Side 2 also retains good gloss with vibrant colors. There appears to be some dark paint splatter to the upper-right of the field, as well as occasional surface scratching. The flange section and the mounting holes remain in nice condition with minor paint loss and wear (8.6). In total, this is an eye-catching sign that remains in good condition and would be a great display item for any collection.
