SST. Maker mark, "Stout Sign Co." Spectacular c. 1950's New Old Stock Triple AAA Root Beer self-framed embossed tin sign with rice paper remnants still attached. CONDITION: Sign has strong color and gloss with very minor fade in the red background of the field. Sign shows surface staining and scratches with paint loss, as well as minor staining on the self-framed edge. Overall, a terrific piece that was more than likely never hung.
