DSP. A nice example of this double-sided porcelain neon sign from Ford Motor Company, featuring original porcelain skins and colorful neon lighting. CONDITION: Side 1, porcelain skin retains good color and gloss. Shows areas of porcelain chipping, largely confined to the outer edges, but also in isolated areas in the field. Field shows slight discoloration in the blue background. Neon tubing has been modernized, which lights and functions well (8.5). Side 2, shows areas of porcelain loss, most notably to the bottom-left edge of the oval. Original neon skin shows areas of discoloration, largely in the navy blue background. All other porcelain loss is confined to the extreme outer edges. Neon lighting functions properly and displays well (8.5). Can and hanging hooks of the sign has been repainted displaying nicely. This is a desirable piece of Ford advertising that would be a great addition to any collection.
