SSP. Maker mark "A.G.A. Co. Elizabeth N.J." Outstanding c. 1920s "Caution Curve" single-sided porcelain lighthouse topper sign. CONDITION: Sign has good color and gloss throughout the porcelain sections, showing very minor surface staining and blemishes in the black lettering. Sign also shows very minor porcelain loss and staining on the extreme outer edge, most notably at the mounting holes, which have been expanded, causing porcelain loss. Piece is complete with the original metal can on the back, as well as hardware and reflective glass. The glass has a couple minor cracks, but the glass itself is completely stable and showing no signs of further deterioration. An overall tremendous early piece that you never find complete with the reflective glass still connected to the sign.
