DSP. C. 1930s Standard Oil Company of Indiana double-sided porcelain sign with excellent graphic and color. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss, with noticeable fade throughout the blue porcelain in the field. The sign has multiple areas of surface staining, as well as one porcelain chip in the field and four porcelain chips surrounding holes all the way through the sign in the outer field. The very outer edges of the sign also have significant porcelain loss throughout, as well as minor staining. (7.9). Side 2, has good color and gloss, with slightly less fade to the blue porcelain than the previous side. The sign has multiple areas of surface scratching and staining, as well as porcelain loss surrounding four added holes in the outer field and an area of porcelain loss in the "I" of "Indiana." The outer edges of the sign also show porcelain loss at the hanging holes and throughout the outer edge. (7.9). Overall, an excellent sign in nice displaying condition. this is the rare 42" version.
