DSP. Maker mark "Veribrite Signs." C. 1940s Phillips 66 double-sided porcelain shield sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has significant oxidation throughout the black porcelain, most notably in the top panel surrounding the "Phillips" lettering. Sign has porcelain loss in the outer field, as well as porcelain loss along the outer edges of the sign. (7.9). Side 2, has significantly more oxidation in the black than the previous side. The sign has very minor surface scratches, with a couple deep scratches through the porcelain in the top right-hand corner. The outer edges of the sign also have areas of porcelain loss throughout. (7.9). Overall, a nice displaying piece, perfect for any collection.
